The back of the case bears the official, deep stamp of the Royal Navy (K.M.), recognizable by the defence anchor with the royal crown above and the unique military issue number 62020. This specimen was officially government property at the time and was used aboard a naval warship for vital tasks such as navigation and tactical time measurements.

Dial & Provenance:
The front features the original dealer imprint: "FA. JOH. E. POST AMSTERDAM". This renowned Amsterdam firm was at the time the official, certified supplier that approved and supplied precision timekeepers and measuring instruments to government agencies and the defense.
