Capodimonte - Sculpture, Femme Naturaliste - 22 cm - Biscuit porcelain

Elegant white Capodimonte porcelain statuette depicting a young woman seated on a tree trunk, wearing a delicately sculpted dress, adorned with a bow at the bodice. She is depicted in a graceful pose, one hand raised to her face and the other lifted, the index finger extended.

The composition rests on a naturalistic terrace embellished with foliage and on a circular molded base, surmounted by a gilded metal mount richly chiseled with Rococo motifs, scrolls and spirals.

Italian work, early 20th century. Small defect to the fingers.
