Description :

The artwork : A nocturnal Parisian scene of striking romanticism, capturing the enchanting magic of the City of Light under the rain. In the foreground, the warm golden and welcoming glow of a café terrace warms the atmosphere under a purple awning. On the wet sidewalk, a mirror of a thousand shimmering reflections, a couple strolls peacefully under a red umbrella. In the background, beneath a cobalt blue night sky sprinkled with stars, the Eiffel Tower illuminated in gold rises majestically, offering a poetic, vibrant, and highly cinematic composition.

The technique : Work done in acrylic with brush and painting knife on canvas mounted on wooden panel. The subtle alliance of the brush for the atmospheric gradients of the sky and the knife for the generous texture gives the scene a unique expressive force. The impasto shapes sculpt with intensity the light diffused by the café, the vibrations of the Eiffel Tower and the golden reflections on the wet paving stones.

The Artist : With more than 25 years of professional career (established since 2001, first exhibition in 1992), NOLAC (born 1970) is an accomplished artist. Her knife work is her signature, blending the power of gesture with poetic finesse. She today opens to a freer and more instinctive interpretation of urban and nocturnal scenes, brushing with luminous and expressive abstraction.

Services : Unique artwork, straight from her studio, signed, protected by varnish. Delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
