Description:

The work: A Provençal canvas sparkling with remarkable freshness, celebrating the bucolic beauty of the landscapes of the South. In the foreground, stunning bright red poppies bloom vividly among flowers with violet hues and tall sunlit grasses. The view opens onto a golden field leading to a majestic stone bastide with warm-tiled roofs, set against powerful verdant reliefs under a sky of pure blue, punctuated by tall cypress trees. A warm, poetic work that is deeply soothing.

The technique: Entirely created with a painting knife in acrylic on canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The mastery of the knife yields a generous, sculptural, vibrant texture. The impasto provides exceptional relief to the poppy petals, to the wild grasses, and to the stone mas structure, catching light from every angle with brilliance.

The Artist: With more than 25 years of professional career (established since 2001, first exhibition in 1992), NOLAC (born 1970) is an accomplished artist. Her knife work is her signature, blending the strength of gesture with poetic finesse. She now embraces a freer and instinctive interpretation of the landscape, brushing with a luminous and expressive abstraction.

Services: Unique work, direct from her studio, signed, protected by varnish. Delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
