A varied collection of 41 Christian devotional objects, including antique pieces and objects of Southern European origin. The lot contains crucifixes, crosses, religious medals and pendants, a rosary with white beads, a small brown leather pouch, a blue-and-white ceramic cross and a small hinged metal box decorated with an IHS monogram and ornamental scrollwork.
The collection brings together pieces from different periods; an exact date has not been established for every item. The hinged box measures approximately 4 × 2.5 × 1 cm. The total weight of the collection is approximately 112 g.
The objects appear to be made from mixed materials, including metal, beads, enamel or glass-like inserts, leather and ceramic. Materials and metal purity have not been tested.
The pieces show signs of age and use, including tarnish, surface wear, scratches and some damage or loss to coloured details. Please examine the photographs carefully; they form part of the description and show the items included in the lot.
