Description from the seller
Texts From Other Centuries
I stand between worlds, phone in hand, robes pooling like a quiet tide around my feet. Behind me, she watches from her gilded frame - that other woman, the famous one, arms folded, forever patient. I do not turn to meet her gaze. The teal wall hums between us, cold and luminous, interrupted by geometry - black, red, silence. An orange vase bleeds colour onto pale floorboards below bare branches. The brushwork is smooth, almost porcelain, light falling softly on my pearl earring, on the drape of blue cloth, on everything I carry and cannot quite name.
-- Dimensions: 100 x 75 x 2.5 cm
-- Mounting: Professionally hand-stretched on a wooden chassis.
-- Framing: None (no external frame); painted edges ready for display.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
