Description from the seller
Mirrors of the In-Between
I stand at the edge of a fractured world, my black coat catching a wind that belongs to no season. Canvases within canvases bend reality around me - a monumental stone face gazes sidelong from grey folds of painted sky, while orange and white blooms float untethered beside a cloud that has forgotten gravity. Below, a still pool mirrors everything I cannot fully see: the trees, the blossoms, my own dark silhouette dissolved in reflection. The brushwork is smooth, luminous, each tone bleeding softly into the next beneath an aching blue.
-- Dimensions: 100 x 75 x 2.5 cm
-- Mounting: Professionally hand-stretched on a wooden chassis.
-- Framing: None (no external frame); painted edges ready for display.
-- Medium: Premium artists' oil colors on fine canvas.
-- Style: Psychological Surrealism with a smooth brush texture.
-- Authentication: Signed 'Enigma' on reverse with title and year.
-- Condition: Pristine; dispatched from studio-affiliated workshop.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
