I am AniB—a female artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today, my works are almost exclusively created on paper. This more compact and calmer approach suits not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me room to immerse myself fully in the subject.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles—for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have been working professionally—with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality—beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original—with care, humor, and heart painted into it. Maybe one of them will speak to you."
