The dial of this Citizen Crystron impresses with its blue-black petrol tone and a soft satin finish that responds to light with changing nuances. It features applied faceted indices in silver with luminous details at the outer ends. The rectangular baton-style hands retain their clean, well-defined luminous inserts. The applied logos of "CITIZEN QUARTZ" at the top and the iconic "CQ" emblem alongside the text "CRYSTRON" at six o'clock look sharp and perfectly aligned. At three o'clock there is a framed window for day and date in English and Kanji. The dial condition is pristine, with no marks or visible degradation.

Case and crystal
The stainless steel case shows a TV-type silhouette (TV case / rectangular cushion) with a pronounced horizontal satin finish on the front that flows smoothly into the bracelet. The edges and bevels retain their sharp lines with mirror-polished bevels on the contours. It shows only light signs of honest use consistent with its age, with no deep marks. The mineral crystal with a curved/bulged profile is in exceptional condition, with no scratches. The crown remains discreetly integrated at three o'clock.

The watch is powered by Citizen’s high-precision quartz caliber 3800 / 7100 from the Crystron series. The snap-on back in stainless steel is clearly engraved with the brand "CITIZEN WATCH CO.", the case reference 4-730887 Y, the model reference 44-2399, and the serial number 91203065, placing its exact production date in December 1979.

Bracelet
It comes equipped with its original integrated stainless steel low-profile link bracelet with a satin finish.
