'Le Crash' explores the boundary between mastery and chaos through the world of Formula 1.

This creation brings together two representations of the same single-seater: before and after the accident. On one side, mechanical perfection, speed and precision. On the other, the brutality of an impact that disrupts this balance.

Created from an impression in a blue ballpoint pen drawing style, the work stands out for the finesse of its lines and its contrasts, evoking the aesthetics of contemporary automotive sketching.

Thanks to a folding technique inspired by the agamograph, two images reveal themselves successively depending on the viewing angle. As you move in front of the work, the spectator discovers the transformation of the single-seater, moving from its intact state to the consequences of the crash.

This three-dimensional illusion brings to life a composition that remains still, making gaze and movement an integral part of the artistic experience.
