"Regina Coeli"

Oil on copper
23 x 17.3 cm
27 x 21.5 (frame)

This complex representation of the Immaculate Conception with the crescent, Virgin Mary crowned as Mother of God (with the Child) and Queen of Heaven possibly derives from a Flemish engraving; however, the powerful anatomy of the Child with marked Mannerist features derives from Italian models.

The frame is a gift.

This work of art, according to the Spanish Historical Heritage Law, requires an export license from the Ministry of Culture to leave Spain. This process is free and may take approximately 4 weeks.

For outside the European Union there will be extra costs in export duties and the waiting time will be extended.
