Soyz Bank (1988) - Spider-Man – Spidey Super Stories – Marvel Comics – 1981

THE ARTIST

French visual artist, SOYZ BANK develops a universe where technical innovation meets artistic creation. His work rests on an original approach that transforms flat supports into true three-dimensional sculptures, giving birth to unique works.

His creative process draws inspiration from everyday objects often forgotten or considered ordinary: wine labels, comic book covers, newspapers, banknotes, packaging and many other elements become the raw material of his imagination.

Through his exclusive concept “Reality Concept,” SOYZ BANK literally makes these supports come out of their surface to offer them a new dimension. This artistic signature has allowed him to present his creations to collectors and at exhibitions around the world.

His work revolves around two major collections.

The first celebrates the world of luxury and the art of living. It reinterprets emblematic symbols such as fine wines, champagnes, cigars, banknotes and other prestigious icons. The early pieces of this series also included stamps and various everyday objects, reinterpreted in an unprecedented sculptural form.

The second collection is devoted to childhood memories. It revives characters, comics, cartoons and universes that marked several generations, giving them a new presence through relief.

Each realization combines sculpture and digital printing according to a method developed by the artist, making each work a unique creation.
