Description from the seller
Fac-simile of the Mallarmé manuscript with the transcription in parallel, followed by two texts: Notice of the present scoliaste, by Jean Guichard-Meili, and Mallarmé, scribe of himself, by Raymond Gid, publisher's full-cloth binding in a cloth-covered slipcase protected by the sending board. This work, limited to one thousand numbered copies, on Lana pure filament vellum, was issued from the presses of Vibert Printing, in Grosrouvre, on 22 October 1981. It was designed by Jean Guichard-Meili. Raymond Gid was its project leader; copy number 636/1000. The autograph elements of the title are taken from a page of handwritten instructions addressed to Edmond Deman; we owe to the National Museums the photograph of Félicien Rops’s drawing.
External damp-stain traces, interior in perfect condition - Pleasant copy.
