Elegant Louis Vuitton Paris women’s knit, made in Italy and characterized by a refined navy blue and red vertical stripe pattern, visually lengthening the silhouette. The garment features a fitted, very feminine line, with a deep V-neckline finished by a wide navy blue trim, long sleeves and a particular slightly ruched shoulder construction that adds volume and definition to the upper part.
The knit alternates the thin red stripes with the dark blue background and presents interesting graphic details: at the sleeves and lower bust some stripes are intentionally interrupted, creating small tone-on-tone motifs in the knit. The hem is finished with a thin red edging, while the cuffs are made in compact navy blue knit.
On the front there is also a discreet Louis Vuitton motif worked directly into the knit, visible especially when looking closely at the garment.
The original label reads Louis Vuitton Paris, size XS, Made in Italy. The indicated composition is 65% wool and 35% polyamide, a combination that gives the garment softness, structure and elasticity, allowing the knit to follow the shapes well without becoming overly rigid.
The flat measurements taken and shown in the photographs are: shoulders about 37 cm, armpit-to-armpit about 48 cm, waist width about 43 cm, total length about 55 cm and sleeve length about 60 cm. The chest measurement thus corresponds to about 96 cm in circumference at rest, to which the natural elasticity of the knit adds.
I would therefore describe it as an XS with a comfortable fit, potentially suitable also for a S, especially considering the fabric’s elasticity.
