Vittorio Izzo’s “Amore giovanile” is an oil painting on panel from 2005, from the 2000–2010 period, originating in Italy and sold framed.
Description from the seller
Original oil painting on panel, signed and accompanied by the artist’s certificate of authenticity.
Splendid painting by master Vittorio Izzo, entitled Young Love, created in September 2005 using oil on panel.
The painting depicts a romantic scene of young love, with two young lovers caught in a moment of joyful complicity, as they walk embracing along a path immersed in nature.
The young woman, wrapped in a light white dress with delicate blue undertones, is escorted by her beloved, as they both seek shelter under a large drapery billowed by the wind.
The composition stands out for the refinement of the details, the softness of the flesh tones, the elegance of the draperies, and the particular attention to the portrayal of light.
The work recalls figurative Romanticism and nineteenth‑century academic painting, with evident neoclassical influences in the idealized representation of the figures and in the delicacy of the atmosphere.
The warm palette, the contrast between the dark landscape and the brightness of the costumes, together with the dynamism of the characters, confer a poetic, sentimental, and narrative character to the painting.
Signature and authenticity
The work bears the artist’s signature at the bottom right, rendered in red.
On the reverse there is the stamp and the certificate from the La Galleria dell’Immaginario art studio by Vittorio Izzo, with a statement that the work is unique, hand-painted, and the artist’s autograph signature for the authenticity of the piece.
