Description from the seller

A very elegant pair of double-gourd-shaped vases in Chinese porcelain enriched with a bronze mount.

These high-quality pieces were designed from the late 19th century to be presented as ornamental lamp bases (hole in the middle).

The bodies of the vases feature a continuous decoration of remarkable finesse, articulated over several registers painted by hand.

The vases are in good condition and very decorative.

A very slight crack under the base that does not affect the piece and is almost invisible.

Jingdezhen decorated in Canton for the European market.
