Guillén - Nativity scene (6) - Clay - Lined clay.

This image shows a nativity scene, a traditional Christian representation of the birth of Jesus. The set is made in barro lienzado (terracotta figures with clothing made from stiffened or glued fabric) traditional to Murcia, a craft style very popular in Spain.

Artesanía Guillén is, without a doubt, the hallmark of its nativity. The Guillén family workshop is one of the historic and most respected names in the Region of Murcia for creating traditional belenes (nativity scenes).
Height of the pieces: 10–13 cm
