AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A concise and exceptionally eye-catching 3-piece Vintage desk and smoking set, made in West Germany in the mid-20th century (approximately 1960s–1970s).
This striking set consists of high-quality, warm-glowing amber resin (often referred to as Lucite or Solarglas) with a striking internal structure/cracking effect that wonderfully catches and reflects light. The pieces are elegantly accented with polished brass elements, perfectly defining the iconic Space-Age and Mid-Century Modern style of West German design.
1x Large Amber Resin Ashtray: With a polished brass rim and classic cigarette/cigar rests. Exquisite craftsmanship with deep, warm amber tones.
1x Cylindrical Holder (Vase / Candle Base / Stand): Matching cylindrical design with a polished brass collar on top. Versatile and refined.
1x Rare Amber Resin Elephant Figure: A charming, translucent small elephant decorative piece that color- and material-match the set exactly.
Excellent vintage condition with only minimal signs of use consistent with age, preserving its authentic character. The brass elements show a beautiful, warm patina, and the resin is clear, glossy, and radiant. Please review the detailed photos to assess the condition and the extraordinary beauty of this set.
Dimensions:
Ashtray 3 × 10 × 10 cm
