Gucci - Evening bag

Rare and refined rigid evening case (minaudière / clutch purse compact) signed GUCCI, entirely crafted in solid sterling silver. This splendid collectible embodies perfectly the geometric elegance and timeless luxury of the Florentine house from its golden era. The rigid body features a finely brushed ribbed finish on the outer surface, giving it a gleam and protecting the piece from handling scratches.
The design is characterized by a double central opening, governed by a snap closure topped with two lustrous beads mounted on pivoted pins.
Inside, two main cylindrical compartments are revealed, originally ideal for holding makeup accessories or cigarettes, and a further internal spring-loaded flap that seals one of the sub-compartments.
The factory mark "Gucci" and the silver hallmark "925" are clearly impressed on the internal metal edge of the mount.

The piece presents in an excellent vintage overall condition. Closure mechanisms and hinges snap perfectly and coherently. Interior clean with a light natural patina of silver oxidation that can be polished at the buyer's discretion. No major structural dents detected.
