Auriac - Gitanes - GITANES - 1980s

Gitanes – Jacques Auriac – Advertising manifesto – 54 × 40 cm

An explosion of color and movement: this magnificent Gitanes manifesto captivates with its intense yellow background, crossed by a dancing figure that takes shape among brushstrokes, splashes and contrasts of azure, blue, purple and fuchsia.

The white cigarette, placed diagonally, introduces a geometric element into the composition, while the inscription “Gitanes – Avec ou sans filtre” completes a graphic with great visual impact. An image that preserves all the charm of French advertising, capable of transforming a product into an artistic and decorative subject.

Graphic work by Jacques Auriac, with the signature reproduced in the print at the bottom left. On the lower edge there are the indications “Chabrillac Imprimeurs – Toulouse–Paris” and “Création S.E.I.T.A.”, as visible in the photographs.

Printed on paper with a slightly glossy finish, the look of which is almost plastified.

Dimensions: about 54 × 40 cm.

Excellent overall condition, with vivid colors and a well-preserved image. There are light creases and small irregularities along the edges, visible in the photographs, which are part of the description.

A poster with a bold character, ideal for framing and enhancing in a contemporary setting, a studio or a collection dedicated to advertising graphics.
