Description

In this work I explore the female portrait through a neocubist composition in which geometric shapes, color planes and defined lines build a serene, elegant and enigmatic expression.

The face, divided between a luminous blue and a soft ivory tone, becomes the center of a composition dominated by deep blues, intense red and black. The geometric earrings in yellow and red add small points of light, while the hat, constructed with angular planes, introduces a distinctive element that reinforces the character's personality.

The calm and slightly distant gaze conveys introspection, independence and a certain air of mystery. I am interested in suggesting a story through simple elements, letting each viewer imagine who this woman is, where she comes from or where she is headed.

The painting combines the geometric fragmentation of neocubism with the precision of the hard-edge style. The surfaces of uniform color, strong contrasts and balanced structure create a contemporary work with great visual impact.
