Afonsoul (1992) - Origens

Afonsoul — “Origins”

Original work in mixed media on canvas, 40 × 70 cm.

Origins translates to canvas the composition of a gable panel created by Afonsoul in São Paulo, in 2022, preserving some of the most recognizable elements of the artist's visual language: human figure, nature, geometric patterns, and references to identity and origins.

The composition, marked by the presence of the female figure and the feline, articulates a figurative language with graphic elements of strong visual impact, establishing a direct link between Afonsoul's studio work and his large-scale urban art production.
