THE SECRET OF THE MOON

Artist: Valdi
Series: Interior Garden
Technique: Acrylic on canvas

Description:

The secret of the moon introduces us to an intimate universe where beauty, silence and contemplation meet. A woman dressed in green remains seated beside a window, accompanied by a small black cat. Nearby, a lush floral arrangement and a white moon suspended over a deep blue sky turn the scene into a moment of mystery and serenity.

Valdi constructs the composition through an intense relationship of colors and shapes. The deep green of the dress contrasts with the vibrant red of the architecture, while the blue of the background adds depth and balance. The female figure, with a serene gesture and a focused gaze, conveys natural elegance that transforms a everyday scene into an image charged with sensitivity.

The presence of the cat and the moon introduces an open narrative dimension. There is something that seems to happen in silence, a story that does not quite reveal itself. The work invites us to imagine that small private world where thoughts, memories and desires find their own space.

With her characteristic pictorial language, Valdi combines contemporary figuration, chromatic intensity and a sophisticated decorative sensibility. The secret of the moon celebrates the beauty of intimate moments and the capacity of painting to turn the everyday into something extraordinary.
