This canvas immediately captivates with its dreamy and colorful universe. The artist composes an imaginary world where a bird with geometric patterns flies over a fantastical landscape inhabited by a stylized cat, enchanted towers, and decorative shapes reminiscent of naïve art or folklore.
The richness of bright colors, dominated by oranges, greens, purples, and blues, creates a joyful and poetic atmosphere. The repetitive motifs and simplified forms give the whole a playful, almost childish dimension, while revealing a real mastery of chromatic harmony.
The work evokes a dream or fairy-tale narrative, where the improbable friendship between beings and landscape elements seems to defy the laws of reality. Its strength lies in this ability to invite the viewer into a warm, free, and deeply imaginative universe.
Charps is an artist collected in more than twenty countries and has several works in public collections.
