Attractive set of two large decorative porcelain vases from the well-known “1001 Nights” series by Bjørn Wiinblad for Rosenthal Studio-Line.

Both vases impress with their deep dark blue background, colorful, oriental-looking figurative motifs, and the detailed gold-colored ornaments. The expressive design and the luminous colors are characteristic of the unmistakable style of the Danish artist and designer Bjørn Wiinblad.

The collection comprises two different vase shapes:

1. Vase with the motif “Two Doves”
Slender, tall vase with an oval, narrow form and rounded corners. The depiction shows two figures in splendid, colorful garments, surrounded by decorative plant and bird motifs.

Condition

Both vases appear visually to be in very good condition and nearly like new. With careful visual inspection, no chips, cracks, or other damage could be detected. Only minimal signs of use may be present.

Important note: Both vases show a wear line on the Rosenthal base mark and are therefore labeled as second choice. Despite this designation, no corresponding optical defects or damages could be observed during the inspection.
