Parure golden metal - Comédie-Française

Vintage themed jewelry set designed for the official shop of the Comédie-Française and largely attributed to the creation of Christian Lacroix or produced in his theatrical style (1980s-1990s).
The set evokes the theme of the performing arts and Greek mythology, with the representation of Bacchus (Dionysus) and the Masks of Comedy and Tragedy.

Contains:

- a rigid cuff bracelet in gold-toned metal adorned with the face of Bacchus surrounded by grapes and friezes (diameter 6 cm, width 4.5 cm, 110 g).

- a pair of round clip-on earrings (diameter 3 cm, 30 g).

- two pendants with medallions mounted on black velvet ribbon (diameter 3 cm, 10 g each).

- a red velvet pouch originating from the Comédie-Française (partially faded inscription).

Parure in excellent condition, barely ever worn, stored away from dust and light.
