Description from the seller

Pair of original contemporary paintings on panel with silver leaf – Floral feminine portraits – 50×60 cm and 50×40 cm
Description
This elegant pair of original works belongs to a series dedicated to the female figure, reinterpreted through a contemporary language in which the face and the floral element blend into a poetic and strongly evocative composition.
Both works are entirely handmade on wooden panel with mixed media and feature a silver leaf background, which creates changing reflections and extraordinary luminosity, making each painting different depending on the lighting.
The lot includes:
Opera 1: 50 × 60 cm – Female portrait with tulip in tones of pink, burgundy and emerald green.
Opera 2: 50 × 40 cm – Female portrait with large flowers in shades of blue, lilac and violet.
Although autonomous, the two works were conceived as a visual dialogue: the different sizes of the panels create a dynamic and balanced ensemble, ideal to be displayed as a diptych.
The meeting of the brilliance of the silver leaf, the chromatic strength of the flowers and the delicacy of the faces gives life to a refined ensemble, capable of enhancing contemporary environments, private collections and exhibition spaces.
