Description
TYPE I is a personal art project by Teep Teepse, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of seven. The work translates everyday reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm.
Central is the tension between control and temptation, two forces that constantly vie for priority.
Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. Placing them requires patience and precision; the repetition that emerges evokes the routines by which a life is structured, whether or not diabetes is involved.
A plexiglass cover completes the piece, temptation that remains visible but just out of reach.
Shipping
The artwork is shipped in the original box. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
