Scotland at Mexico 1986

Scotland participated in the FIFA World Cup 1986 in Mexico with a generation rich in players of great international prestige.

The Scottish national team was placed in Group E, together with Denmark, West Germany and Uruguay, one of the most competitive groups of the entire tournament.

From a collecting point of view, one of the most interesting pieces in the lot is certainly sticker #341 Kenny Dalglish. Dalglish is considered one of the most important British footballers of all time and remains one of the most recognizable names of the Scotland team of those years.

In the lot we also find Graeme Souness #336, another emblematic player for Liverpool and Scotland, and numerous protagonists of British football in the Eighties such as Gordon Strachan, Steve Nicol, Richard Gough, Alex McLeish, Willie Miller, Paul McStay and Steve Archibald.

The presence of the entire national team in sequence makes the lot particularly interesting for those who want to complete the related album section without having to search for the individual numbers.
