Among the players present, several key names of Soviet football of the 1980s stand out, including Rinat Dasayev, regarded as one of the most important goalkeepers of his generation, Oleg Blokhin, Ballon d’Or 1975, as well as Alexander Zavarov, Anatoly Demianenko, Vladimir Bessonov, Sergei Aleinikov and Fyodor Cherenkov.

The Soviet Union enjoyed an excellent World Cup in Mexico 1986, winning their group ahead of France before being eliminated in the round of 16 by Belgium in a spectacular match that ended 4-3 after extra time.

Particularly interesting is also the presence of Oleg Protasov, a tournament protagonist and author of a goal in the group stage.

Condition

The stickers are in generally excellent overall condition, especially considering they are original 1986 material.

From the photographs one can see:
- colors still vivid and well preserved;
- sharp images;
- front surfaces generally clean;
- edges overall regular;
- corners generally well preserved;
- original Panini back;
- numeration perfectly legible;
- no obvious writing or annotations;
- no evident sign of previous gluing.

Certainly there may be minor signs of aging, slight edge or corner imperfections, and small differences between specimens, compatible with the age of the stickers and the normal storage of paper material of almost forty years.

They are not presented as perfect or professionally certified stickers: the high-resolution photographs accurately show all the items included in the lot and form an integral part of the description.

There are photographs of both the front and the back of the entire sequence, allowing direct verification of all numbers from #182 to #199 and the overall state of preservation.
