Corné Nuham - Sculpture, DIÄK - 70 cm - Welded - 2025

DIÄK

DIÄK takes its name from the Dinka word for “three”, referring to the three slender supports on which the sculpture stands.

These irregular elements converge into a central body before opening into a series of curved, ascending forms. As the viewer moves around the sculpture, the overlapping branches reveal changing silhouettes and spaces between them.

What begins at three points on the ground unfolds into something that seems to reach beyond itself.

Constructed in iron, DIÄK retains the visible marks of welding and surface work, with textures and irregularities that follow the development of its form.

The sculpture will be carefully packed to ensure safe transport and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
