Statue, Notre-Dame de Lourdes - 65 cm - Plaster

Very beautiful old religious statue depicting the Virgin Mary under the iconography of Our Lady of Lourdes. The Holy Virgin is shown with hands joined in prayer, wearing her traditional white veil and blue belt, the rosary suspended from the right arm. She stands barefoot on a rocky pedestal evoking the Massabielle cave.

Condition:

Good overall condition. The sculpture retains its original polychromy with a very beautiful soft and authentic patina attributed to the time. There are slight superficial signs of wear from use on the paint (notably on the back), which attest to its authenticity without harming its aesthetics.
