The work, structured in seven books, presents in an organic way everything that belongs to the art of oratory, including the traditional parts of classical Greek and Latin rhetoric (primarily Aristotle, Cicero, and Quintilian), adapting them to use by contemporary readers. The edition also contains the comments and marginal notes of the jurist Pio Portinaio. Full leather contemporary binding. Title in gold inlay on the spine.
