Nexo N4 is a unique contemporary abstract work built from a network of geometric shapes, textured reliefs and subtle architectural references. Rectangular elements seem to emerge from the surface, connected by horizontal and vertical lines that generate a sense of structure, depth and visual tension.
The work is dominated by deep graphite, charcoal and black tones, along with metallic greys and subtle bluish reflections that appear on the textured surface. The pronounced relief gives the composition a changing presence depending on the angle from which it is contemplated.
One of the most special characteristics of Nexo N4 is its relationship with light. Throughout the day, and depending on the place the work occupies in the space or the type, direction and intensity of artificial lighting, it can show very different tones and nuances. Areas that under a certain light seem practically black can reveal metallic, bluish or silvery grey reflections with another lighting. The relief also creates changing shadows that continually modify the perception of the composition.
