The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional kiln, then patinated cold.
In the porosity and in the imperfections of the terracotta and the pigments used lies the beauty of this material.
The travertine pedestals are for display purposes only.
Shipping will be carried out with care.
All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Techniques used:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born 1991, attended an art and photography academy. Always seeking inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside,
she rediscovered in small things the charm of simplicity and reinterprets it through matter, thus allowing an open dialogue with her subconscious.
For several years she had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village of Etruscan origin.
A new, delicate approach to deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to living in the open countryside, so she could focus even more on herself and on what she wants to express.
