Buffière - L'échappée bleue

Marie BUFFIERE, painter
Draftswoman who studied architecture and the history of art, her reference artists are Nicolas de Staël, Matisse, Soutine.
The style is contemporary, with acid tones in search of a pictorial aesthetic.
In this representation of nature, the line delineates spaces in an architecturally clean and pared-down composition where the detail focuses on the material by eliminating elements of reality to keep only the essential.
