Who is Pope?

Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a unique artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, an exacting eye for detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and starry-eyed perspective, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.

Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from movements of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
