Rare and fascinating architectural element / small sculpted stone carving hand-carved, depicting the face of a cherub or winged Putto with curly hair. The work presents a rich natural patina layered over time, with ancient traces of preparation or whitening/surface polychromy typical of interior stonework from historic periods or sacred decorative schemes. On the back the original forged iron anchoring pin, hand-forged, used to fit into the wall or original architectural structure, is still perfectly preserved.
