The lot comprises four 1982 bottles of Domaine Jean Jacques Confuron Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru and three 1981 bottles of Madeleine Boillot Pommard 1er Cru “Rugiens”, all 0.75 litres.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and unique set of 7 vintage Burgundy bottles from the early 1980s, originating from a private collection.
Origin & History:
These bottles were personally poured by the winery for my parents, who were hoteliers in Luxembourg Vianden at the time, and they received them after an excellent year.
They have always been kept in the original transport box from Emballages Laurent (Chalon-sur-Saône), equipped with the authentic stamps and the importer label from Firma Courthéoux / Armand Flament (Barbençon).
Contents of the lot (7 bottles of 0.75l):
Jean-Jacques Confuron - Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru (vintages 1981 and 1982)
Madeleine Boillot - Pommard "Rugiens" Premier Cru (vintages 1981 and 1982)
Ullage (fill level):
Beautiful high fill levels (in the neck / base of neck), indicating careful cellar storage over the years.
Condition of the label:
The labels show slight, authentic aging traces and stains appropriate to the age.
The labels on the 1982 bottlings show somewhat more wear/damage to the paper, while the 1981 bottlings have remained well legible and neater.
Condition of the capsule:
Beautiful, intact red metal capsules with the importer seals of Armand Flament.
Shipping:
Carefully packaged and sent by registered/insured mail in the original transport box.
