Description from the seller
This is a unique and original work by the artist MARTE, hand-signed on the back and with a certificate of authenticity included. This painting in particular transcends the barriers of landscape by sharing features of surrealism and approaching conceptual art. It proposes a new vision in contemporary abstract art with nods to abstract expressionism. The XXL format of the painting is ideal for contemplating the details in all their splendor; it works very well in galleries and modern interiors.

MARTE's work is characterized by a balanced palette and soft brushstrokes accompanied by subtle glazes. They are compositions with a meditational spirit and their scenes are aimed at conveying an idea associated with a strong experience. Therefore the construction of the pictorial setting is fundamental to evoke that dreamlike vision. Their works can include many subjects but follow the same conceptual thread that is clearly observed in all of their paintings.

The references regarding trends and artistic currents are varied from classical and modern art to contemporary art, taking influence first from abstract art, conceptual art, as well as from impressionism, expressionism, surrealism, cubism and landscape or classic landscape, with touches of romanticism and realism. On the other hand, multiple artists have influenced the shaping of his/her work such as Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, M. Spiewak, Salvador Dalí, Dam Domido, Joan Miró, Ivanka Matiss, Henri Matisse, Some more current than others but always learning from the mastery and sensibility of other artists among whom they may also be:
V. Kandinsky, Renoir, N. Correa, Wilfredo Lam, La Nord, Max Ernest, Ester Reut, P. Gaugin, Giogia, Sven Pels, A. Warhol, Juan Gris, Volha, Vladau, Morisch, Barnett Newman, Rhul, Rodríguez, Willem de Kooning, etc. “No canvas is painted in solitude; we are the echo of other brushes” S. Dalí.
