Horst Baumgart (1932) - Bauernhaus am Fluss im Abendlicht

For more than ten years I have been working in the art market. I was trained in a gallery, and I also have many years of experience collaborating with major auction houses. I began with paintings. My focus to this day is on 19th and 20th century painting. In addition, porcelain from renowned manufacturers, sculptures, collectibles and selected handicrafts. The objects come from private ownership, from collections and from estates across Germany. Each piece is inspected and researched. For significant works, provenance and the history of the object are additionally examined. The descriptions are factual and precise. They specify signature, mark, technique, dimensions and condition, along with clear photos of the front and back. Large or fragile objects can be delivered by direct transport upon request. Pick-up is possible by arrangement. I answer questions about an object quickly, also gladly with additional detail photos.
