On this square format, Popsan shows WALL-E, Pixar's little robot, grown as large as a mountain. He is sitting in the middle of a valley, his yellow body covered in moss and ivy, tilting to the left with his two big round eyes, where birds have perched. A village has settled on him: wooden houses on his shoulders, a glass greenhouse at the hollow of his open chest, lit balconies and cultivated fields at the foot of his tracks. Waterfalls tumble from his side, and his other arm, folded like an arch, rests in the turquoise river.
Around him, abandoned towers overgrown with greenery rise under a blue sky with pink clouds, with stone viaducts between the towers and snow-capped mountains in the distance. In the foreground, a man wearing a backpack and a small girl in an rust-colored dress watch the scene from a rock, while two deer observe them from the opposite bank. It is a city that nature has reclaimed, under the watchful eye of a guardian who is always watching.

Popsan and Medsan are two signatures of a single artist. Under the name Popsan, he reimagines icons of popular culture by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms; under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy. His pop works, long presented on Catawiki under the name Medsan, now appear under their own signature, Popsan.
