POPSAN - R2-D2 Mediterranean Village (地中海のアールツー・ディーツー) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1

On this square format, Popsan installs R2-D2, the Star Wars droid, on the side of a Mediterranean cliff. He has become quite a village. Its white dome striped with blue dominates the coast and its round eye captures the last light. At the very top, two silhouettes stand at the railing of a small lighthouse. The droid's two legs lean against the rock, overgrown with ivy and pines. Inside its open body, white houses with blue shutters and terraces covered in bougainvillea are displayed, linked by a staircase.
At the foot of the droid, a small port houses white and blue boats on turquoise water, and walkers stroll beneath the pier’s parasols. Further away, rocky needles and a stone arch rise in a deep blue sea where sailboats glide. In the foreground, a flowering pergola, terracotta pots, and a low wall open the view to a sunset orange and pink above the mountains. It looks as if the old robot have fallen asleep there forever.

A luminous and bountiful piece of detail, ideal to bring a touch of the Mediterranean and Star Wars into the home of a collector or sci‑fi enthusiast.
