Popsan’s *Snorlax on the Bridge (橋の上のカビゴン) - UNIQUE WORK* is a 2026 giclée print, hand-signed and numbered 1/1.
Description from the seller
THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1
In this vertical format, Popsan lays Snorlax, the sleeping giant of Pokémon, across a curved wooden bridge over a river. He is lying on his back, eyes closed, mouth slightly open with two white fangs showing, and his broad clawed paws rest on the railing. On the left, a porter in a blue kimono, carrying a backpack, extends a long pole toward his cream belly. Behind him, a crowd of travelers wearing straw hats presses in, mouths agape. On the right, a flute player blows toward the sleeper, next to a samurai in a dark kimono who wears two swords at his belt.
Beneath the arch glides a sailboat, then a second, hoisted by a pole and loaded with bundles. In the distance, the snowy Mount Fuji dominates blue hills and a village by the water. A willow droops on the left, and on the right a lantern bears the kanji 深川. The dominant hues are indigo, blue-green, and cream, with the blond wood of the bridge. An entire city is halted by a single sleep.
A gentle piece full of humor, ideal for adding a touch of Japan and Pokémon to a collector’s interior or a bright living room.
