POPSAN - Kid Goku over Hakone (箱根の空の孫悟空) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1

In this vertical format, Popsan places a young Son Goku, the hero of Dragon Ball, above Hakone’s pass. He sits cross‑legged on his Golden Yellow Magic Cloud, the magic staff strapped to his back and the monkey tail stretched behind him. He salutes with a hand on his forehead and laughs heartily, his orange dogi marked with the жив kanji 亀 vividly against the deep blue sky. Down below, a stone path climbs the cliff side toward a small wooden temple, followed by a line of travelers in straw hats.
In the foreground, a shaved‑head monk, his straw hat on his back, raises his pilgrim staff and points the sky with his finger. Next to him, a bearer with a white headband, a wicker basket on his shoulders, shields his eyes to see better. On the right, a waterfall plunges into a torrent. In the distance, a river winds between villages, under bluish mountains. At the lower left, a stone milestone engraved with 箱根山 rises. The palette blends blues, muted greens, and pale ochre, and only Goku’s orange and the cloud’s yellow blaze. It’s the astonishment of an old mountain road as a child falls from the sky.

A bright, humorous piece, ideal for adding a touch of manga and old Japan to a collector’s Dragon Ball‑loving interior.
