POPSAN - Chihiro and No-Face (千尋とカオナシ) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1

On this square format, Popsan lifts Chihiro, the heroine of Spirited Away from Studio Ghibli, into a wooden wagon racing along the water. Sitting at the edge of a blue bench, hands resting on her knees, she turns her head toward the window and gazes into the distance. She wears her pink and white striped T-shirt, brown hair tied back in a ponytail. Right beside her, No-Face stands still: a tall black silhouette beneath its white mask with violet features, eyes fixed straight ahead.
Behind the glass, the evening light reflects off the sea. On a rocky promontory, a small town raises its towers, its windows already lit under a cloudy sky. Round handles hang from the ceiling; in the back, the small blue door window reveals another piece of sea, and green leaves overflow in the foreground. The brown of the wood, the midnight blue, the soft pink, and the deep black share the frame. The calm of a journey whose end we do not know emanates from it.

A serene and inhabited space, ideal to bring a touch of poetry to the interior of a collector passionate about Japanese animation.
