Charles Farigola – Skull and Dripping Hands Sculpture (Dripping) built from scratch.

Technical Sheet
* Artist: Charles Farigola

* Title of the work: "Chromatic Vanitas"
* Technique / Medium: Mixed media sculpture, acrylic and polymer with drip finish layer upon layer (dripping).
* Dimensions: 12 x 16 cm.
* Signature: Signed by the author at the base / Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity.
* Condition: Excellent condition, original work directly from the artist's workshop.

Description of the Work:

Three-dimensional sculpture that fuses the iconography of the classic vanitas with an expressionist and contemporary formal treatment

. The piece represents a skull with jaws open in a dramatic gesture, over which two hands wrap the cranium from the back.

The work stands out for a rigorous texture work and chromatic pattern through overlapping drips (dripping) in azur tones, emerald green, cobalt blue, reddish hues and white accents.

The dense flow of pigment blurs the boundary between the anatomical structure and the three-dimensional volume, generating a dynamic interaction between the weight of matter, gravity and the sculpted form.

A piece with strong visual impact that explores the tension between anatomical containment and plastic overflow.
About the Artist

Charles Farigola is a multidisciplinary artist based in Madrid, with work published in international media such as Vogue Italia. His plastic work explores formal architecture, the organic pattern and the density of matter, combining contemporary sculptural techniques with ongoing research on surface, gravity and color.
