NL) Beautiful and rare expressionist/brutalist design vase by the renowned Belgian ceramicist Sylvain Hublet (1905-1988), made around 1930-1950. Model 206 D (signed on the bottom). The neck is adorned all around with iconic expressive faces/masks (mascarons) in high relief.
• Height: about 27 cm
• Condition: In nice and sturdy vintage condition. Note: The handle shows some superficial glaze cracks/shrinkage cracks that occurred during firing in the kiln (see detail photos). The handle is completely original and NOT glued or restored. Additionally, there is a tiny, almost imperceptible chip at the bottom of the foot. Will be packed extremely securely with lots of bubble wrap!
