Laurent Pate (1970) - Bilto

Laurent Paté is a French painter whose work stands out for a vibrant and expressive approach to color and material. Originating from Normandy, he found in knife oil painting a technique that matches his creative energy and his desire to give relief to his compositions.

His works range between maritime landscapes inspired by Brittany and Normandy, and more contemporary creations where abstraction meets a certain emotional spontaneity. Each canvas seems to reflect a mood, a moment captured with intensity.

On the Catawiki platform, his paintings regularly find buyers, evidencing a growing interest in his artistic universe. There you can find marine representations, animal scenes, or freer explorations of form and color. The auctions highlight the public's appreciation for his generous and instinctive style.

Laurent Paté does not hesitate to play with light and textures to bring his subjects to life, thereby creating an immediate connection with the viewer. His art, at once accessible and sincere, finds its place with collectors in France and internationally.
