Cor Schaap (1968) - Strandgezicht

Beautiful, deftly painted work by the Katwijk coastal painter Cor Schaap (1968). The sea, the dunes, and fishing life form a continual source of inspiration for this artist, who was born and raised in Katwijk. He paints both outdoors from direct observation and in his studio. The work is lively, fluent, and spontaneously painted in a vibrant neo-impressionist style. An authentic and unique piece of coastal art, purchased directly from the artist himself. Signed with the painter’s first name and fully signed on the back. That, too, makes the piece distinctive.
